Well, here I am: Renae Keller of Renae Keller Interior Design, writing my first blog entry about my new venture as a self-employed interior designer. I am thrilled to be here, at this exhilarating new place in my life, and I can’t wait to share my ideas, inspirations, projects and resources with you as I continue to explore the world of interior design. But first, a little more about me and my business.

After 15 years and some pretty incredible experience in the interior design industry, I decided it was time to venture out on my own, and in January of 2010, Renae Keller Interior Design, Inc., was born. With my ducks now in a row, I’m ready to hit the ground running and make this dream of mine a reality.

I love what I do and am inspired daily to bring the world around me into my work. Burn the candles, use the china…you’ll hear me say that often because it’s the heart of my design philosophy. It reminds us to enjoy the beauty we have around us, right here and now, and not wait for the “perfect time.” Isn’t right now the most perfect time of all?
