For a Minneapolis interior designer, or anyone in the custom home building industry, sharing your story and expertise on The Curious Builder Podcast is an honor! Recently, I got the chance to do just that. The podcast, hosted by Mark D. Williams, is an excellent resource for anyone in the industry. I loved the chance to be featured, offering listeners a glimpse into the ever-changing world of interior design.

Joining The Curious Builder Podcast as a Minneapolis interior Designer

Mark has been a friend for years, and the Curious Builder Podcast has been an incredible resource! It’s a great community where sharing knowledge and collaborating with like-minded people can advance businesses sooner, and more efficiently – while having fun! So, when I was asked to be on the show it was an easy yes. Valuing community is essential for anyone looking to make a mark in the Minneapolis interior custom design scene. The opportunity to connect with others is one we’ll always jump on.

The Podcast Experience

The best part of the podcast experience was getting to explore the topics together. Mark has a talent for asking the kind of questions that really make you stop and think before answering. He undeniably draws out your expertise so as to highlight your value. (One of the talents he doesn’t have is cooking- or so I found out!)

Rather than keeping the talk shallow, we got a chance to do a deep dive into some really important topics for the interior design world. Mark’s ability to make the entire process enjoyable and engaging, while adding so much value for listeners is part of what’s made his podcast such a success!

Key Takeaways from a Minneapolis Interior Designer

One of the things we got to explore together was the changing dynamics of the interior design process and home-building industry. Being that sourcing, selling, and client interactions have continued to change over time, we get to change with them! We are learning to be flexible while keeping our employees happy, our company profitable, and enjoying the process. This adaptability is particularly crucial for anyone in the interior design community to stay relevant and successful in the current market. For that reason, getting a chance to talk through the whys and hows was a lot of fun!

Don’t Miss It

Being on the Curious Builder Podcast was a wonderful experience and I look forward to continuing to work with Mark in the future!
