As an interior design studio, we practice what we preach! With our recent studio design refresh, we’ve spent months (and in some cases, even years) collecting the right pieces and design planning to make our office space truly feel like ours. Your space, whether it’s home or office, should reflect your unique style and serve the vision you have for it. Thanks to our latest additions, that’s exactly what our studio is doing!

Unique Finds in the Interior Design Studio

Our design process revolves around finding unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that add a distinctive charm to any space. We’ve been intentional and thoughtful, carefully seeking out the treasures that now grace our office. One standout piece of furniture is a 109″ oxblood red console table (seriously- we’re in love!) from Pagoda Red, which perfectly complements our citron grasscloth wall covering from Phillip Jeffries. This combination is a love note to bold, beautiful interior design elements and the source of endless inspiration! In addition to the console table, we’ve also incorporated carefully selected vessels for plants and books collected over the years, making the space feel uniquely ours.

Another favorite piece is a small Parisian oil painting, purchased at a specific Paris Flea Market held once a year and attended by our local shop, J. Atelier. Its presence, even with a weathered frame, makes me smile daily, proving that even the smallest design details can have a significant impact on a room.

Playing Favorites

The conference room table has become a go-to spot for gatherings: meetings, happy hours, coffee, etc.! The presentation area, the drapes, and the view of the community walking their dogs out the studio windows make it a place we keep returning to! Our outdoor area, sporting new garden chairs, is another favorite, providing a peaceful space to check emails or brainstorm new ideas. The changing Minnesota seasons have us embracing the outdoor natural light whenever we can- for our bodies, moods, and creativity! (Stop by in October, it’s my favorite time of year here)!

Soon we will be repainting the fireplace in Dead Salmon from Farrow and Ball and re-wallpapering the fireplace chase in a Josh Greene grasscloth from my new favorite showroom in Charleston – Porter Fritz (thank you for introducing me to this gorgeous line wall covering)! These dramatic hues promise to bring a moody and rich look to our office. Oh, and did we mention a new chandelier?  It’s a must-see!

All About People

A space should serve the people who live (or work) there, and that’s what we’ve aimed to accomplish! Our team of talented women brings their best every day, creating an incredible environment. We love the camaraderie and value the unique strengths each member contributes. Thanks to the new life breathed into our workplace we can continue to bring our A game.

We also designed our office to be a resource for our clients. When clients visit, we can reference real examples, making it easier to explain design concepts like tape trim on drapes, Conrad Shades, chandelier sizing, and fireplace mantle heights. This hands-on approach helps our clients visualize and understand our recommendations, saving them valuable time.
